These Terms and Conditions regulate access, use of services, and the marketing of courses and scheduling of appointments made available by the On The Book website, in accordance with the legislation in force in Portugal.

 

2. Acceptance

 

By using this website and purchasing courses or scheduling appointments, the User fully accepts these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you should refrain from using the website and services.

 

3. Registration, Purchase and Payment Conditions

 

• The available courses, their content, dates, prices and access requirements are fully described on the website.

• The User must fill in all true and complete data required by the registration or scheduling form.

• Payment for courses and bookings must be made under the terms indicated for each service.

• Registration for a course or booking will only be validated after payment confirmation.
   

4. Copyright and Property

• All course content, materials, platforms, videos, images and other resources are the property of the promoter and protected by law, unless otherwise stated on the website itself.

• Reproduction, sharing or commercialization of content without express authorization is prohibited.
   

5. Cancellation, Rescheduling and Refunds

• The User may cancel or reschedule appointments, within the deadlines and conditions defined on the website.

• In digital courses and bookings, the legislation on distance contracts (Decree-Law No. 24/2014) applies, with the exception of the right of free termination whenever there is an immediate start of the digital service/training and the User explicitly waives it at the time of purchase.

• Withdrawals after the start of the course or provision of the service do not confer the right to a refund except in situations provided for by law.
   

6. Responsibility

• The promoter is not responsible for technical problems, interruptions or unavailability of the website or course platforms for reasons beyond its control.

• The User is responsible for ensuring that the courses purchased and the bookings made are tailored to their needs.
   

7. Data Protection

• The processing of personal data follows the Privacy Policy and applicable legislation (GDPR).

• The required data is used only for the execution of the purchased services, registration and management, for legal and tax purposes.
   

8. Changes to the Terms

9. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

• These Terms and Conditions are governed by Portuguese law and, in the event of a dispute, the exclusive jurisdiction will be the court of the promoter's district, unless otherwise provided by law.
